COMPENSATION: Our salary range for this role is $55,000-$70,000 (Please note that salaries are determined based on credentials and years of experience)

Technology plays a critical role in supporting instruction, communication, and school operations.
Position Overview
South Shore Charter School is seeking an IT Support Coordinator to oversee and support all school technology systems. This individual will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations while providing hands-on support to staff and supporting the school’s instructional and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain school technology systems, devices, networks, printers, and telecommunications.
- Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user accounts.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and classroom technology issues.
- Serve as the primary technology support contact for staff.
- Support onboarding/offboarding, device management, and educational technology platforms.
- Maintain technology inventory, cybersecurity practices, backups, and access controls.
- Coordinate with vendors, support school-wide events and testing, and assist with technology planning and budgeting.
- Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented school culture.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of IT support, systems administration, or related experience.
- School-based experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and device management systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity best practices.
